Members of the National Movement congratulate the population on the 100th anniversary of the Democratic Republic of Georgia.

One of the leaders of the United National Movement, Zaal Udumashvili, says that independence needs to be maintain.

"We have gained independence, but we should not forget that hundreds of thousands of our citizens are IDPs today and part of Georgia"s territories is occupied by Russia. We are an independent country, but struggle for freedom and unity continues and we will certainly win in this fight, "- Zaal Udumashvili said.

Member of the Political Council of the United National Movement Giorgi Baramidze talked about the importance of independence.

"We need our freedom for the well-being of our citizens and for this we want to be a united, civilized, progressive and democratic society, " - Baramidze said.
