The 100th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan is also celebrated in Georgia. The solemn event was held at the palace of youth.

The Prime Minister of Georgia and the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia addressed the audience.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili spoke about the relations between the two countries.

"The relationship between our countries is a distinctive example of good neighborly relations and co-operation. Azerbaijan is one of Georgia"s largest investors and trading partners and this dynamics is growing. Closer economic and cultural ties increase the basis for our cooperation, "Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.
