Whether the Parliamentary Investigative Commission on the case of resonant murder will be created depends on today"s judgment. The majority will wait for the court decision and then discuss the expediency of the commission creation. The initiative belongs to the European Georgia, for which there are unanswered questions about the murder. The opposition sees the government"s interest in this vague case. The MPs are convinced that the Prosecutor"s Office has been covering up the killers by the order of former senior official Mirza Subeliani.
"If the government wants the questions to be answered, the commission should be created, if the commission is not set it will indicate that the government is ready to cover somebody who is important for it because of something," said Irakli Kiknavelidze.
In the majority, they claim that no one can escape responsibility for this case.
