Prime Minister`s appeal is assessed as inadequate and insulting by opposition and civil society representatives. According to them, Kvirikshvili"s speech once again made clear that the government is insecure and harmful. In their opinion, Giorgi Kvirikashvili did not say anything about the fact why people came out on the street, thus confirming that the system is to be changed.
"Today saying about these people who come to the Parliament building and ask for justice, that it is a politically managed process, it"s just insulting," said Salome Samadashvili.
One of the leaders of the Republic Party, Khatuna Samnidze, speaks about the responsibility and crime of the prime minister in the ongoing events and says that Kvirikashvili`s and the government"s actions are criminal and not competent.
Eka Gigauri, head of the NGO "Transparency International Georgia", claims that the Prime Minister"s statements are insulting.
