After recognition of the independence of Georgia"s occupied regions by Syria, the MPs have questions to the Foreign Ministry.

The legislators want to know what does the Foreign Ministry to maintain the non-recognition policy. A Deputy Foreign Minister is expected to make clarifications on these issues in the Parliament today.

Sopho Katsarava, the member of the parliamentary majority and chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee states that recognition by Syria does not hinder to prevent the non-recognition policy.
Sergi Kapanadze, the MP from "European Georgia", says that there are serious problems in this regard. Sergi Kapanadze wants to know what is being done with the member states of the Arab League in direction of non-recognition of occupied regions.
United National Movement says that keeping the non-recognition policy is one of the failures for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to Salome Samadashvili, it is interesting to know how the government works with other members of the Arab League. Samadashvili has questions about relations with Russia as well.
