The President of Georgia considers the demand of the resignation of the Minister of Justice to be logical and says that the NGO "raised a moral benchmark" with this demand.
He said about it in TV Pirveli.
"My answer is that I agree with attitude in the society that has its absolutely logical reasoning," Margvelashvili said and added that the NGO sector"s claim to Tea Tsulukiani is a "very good moral benchmark".
"NGOs have made clear the position with regard to the Minister of Justice that if a new prosecutor needs a legitimization from the society, they are part of the legitimacy in this direction. First of all I was glad that they have put forward certain conditions because I had been watching NGOs and they would go wherever thay had been called many times without any conditions including for example the Constitutional Commission . It"s very good that this time moral benchmark has been risen. They said that we will not be able to get along with the person who has made so many mistakes, "-said Giorgi Margvelashvili.
