Giorgi Margvelashvili addressed the guests at a ceremony dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the first democratic Republic of Georgia, organized by the Embassy of Georgia in Tallinn and focused on the perspectives of the two countries" historical friendship and bilateral cooperation.

The President of Estonia, the Chairman of the Parliament, members of the Cabinet of Ministers, diplomatic missions, business circles and representatives of Georgian diaspora in Estonia attended the solemn reception.

In his speech, the President of Georgia emphasized the historical friendship that connects the Estonian and Georgian people.

"I would like to thank Estonia and the Estonian people for the contribution to my country"s bright future. Also thank you for what you do for Europe and the world, "- the President of Georgia said.

Giorgi Margvelashvili thanked his Estonian counterpart for this support to Georgia.
