The US Department of State published an annual report on the work done by the States against trafficking throughout the world.

Like last year, Georgia was mentioned among other countriessuch as the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom and France.

The report states that Georgia fully satisfies the minimum standards for fight against human trafficking. However, in parallel, the fact is underlined that no victims of trafficking have received financial compensation. In the fight against this problem, the government"s activities are not transparent.
