Russian aggression, occupation of territories, and propaganda spread by Moscow - these are common challenges, which the Speakers of the Georgian, Ukrainian and Moldovan parliaments discussed at the meeting held at the Atlantic Council after the Congress.
According to Vice President of the Council, Damon Wilson, all three countries have a common goal - to get closer to Euro-Atlantic structures and deal with challenges within the country.
"Despite significant challenges - despite the Kremlin intervention and the occupation of territories that are the result of Soviet history, these countries and people are trying to choose a path to political and economic reforms that will draw them closer to Europe and the West. Each has a great challenge inside the country. We see the constant talks about the fight against corruption in Ukraine, we see the recent collapse of the government in Georgia, we see the dispute over the local elections in Moldova, "said Damon Wilson.
