Annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol - Georgia supports EU sanctions imposed on Russia

 

Georgia has supported the continuation of sanctions imposed by the EU due to an annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol.

The Declaration of the High Representative of the European Union says that according to the document, these countries ensure that their national policy is relevant to the decision of the European Council.

The restrictions imposed by the EU in 2014 implies restrictions on the import of goods from Crimea and restrictions on economic relations with the occupied territories.
