Miners" demonstration is underway in Tkibuli city centre. The United Trade Unions have joined the rally.

Tamaz Dolaberidze, the deputy chairman of the Georgian Trade Union, says that it is necessary to provide temporary conservation of shafts and pay the salaries of miners completely.

Employees express their distrust to the general director of the company and demand Jambul Jakeli"s resignation.

Their demands, to involve the Prime Minister in the negotiation and confirm with an official document that the employees will receive compensation before the shaft restoration.
