The Prime Minister of Georgia has dismissed five governors. As Mamuka Bakhtadze stated, Sozar Subari will head the regional development manager.
"I would like to inform you that Mr. Sozar Subari, will lead the regional management direction, the regional management component will be allocated from the Ministry of Infrastructure. The existing regional management system was not able to respond to the challenge, and most of our initiatives are aimed at implementing new projects in the regions. I would like to inform you that new approaches are needed with the management of the regions. The governors of Shida Kartli, Mtskheta-Tianeti, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti have been dismissed, "the Prime Minister said.
