Giorgi Margvelashvili named the date of presidential elections. By the decision of the President of Georgia, 2018 presidential elections will be held on October 28.

"This decision is made in agreement with the Prime Minister of Georgia, the resolution will be sent to the Prime Minister," the President of Georgia said.
