Ana Natsvlishvili, the Parliamentary Secretary of the President of Georgia makes a statement about the selection of a new candidate of the Supreme Court.

After Nino Gvenetadze"s resignation, the president has to nominate a new candidate for the chairmanship, which may be the reason for another confrontation between the ruling team and the president.

Ana Natsvlishvili says that the new chairperson should be able to deal with the existing challenges.

"It will not be a president"s individual decision and it will not be Giorgi Margvelashvili"s candidate. This will be the person chosen by the society. To refuse this candidate means to refuse to the Georgian society and confirm the doubts that the ruling party has no political will and wish to run the judiciary out of their control " Ana Natsvlishvili says.
