A President of Georgia has visited the Mukhatgverdi Cemetery alongside with Families of those killed in the war.

" ten years have passed since the August tragedy. I would like to remind everyone once again, that this was not the first attack on free Georgia. For the first time, Russia tried to punish us in the first years of our independence. It was a war of the 90s, launched by Russia in Abkhazia and Tskhinvali. Ten years ago there was another wave of brutal attack. Today, when I think about the past, we see that victory and unification of the country are closer than ever,"- Giorgi Margvelashvili.
