The Presidential Administration responds to the complaints of some members of the High Council of Justice in regard to the selection of a candidate for the Chair of the Supreme Court.
Pikria Chikhradze, Giorgi Margvelashvili"s political advisor says that the judicial authorities have received a proposal on participation in consultations along with other agencies.

"We had contacted heads of both agencies in order to hold these meetings in the desired time and format. It took some time to answer, and the answer was such that the Secretary of the Council of Justice said that most of the members of the board were on vacation and that"s why this meeting could not be held. As for the acting Chairperson of the Supreme Court, he said that he had spoken to the judges of the Supreme Court and they had refused to participate in such meeting because the involvement of judges would not be appropriate, "said Pikria Chikhradze.
