President will no longer nominate a candidate for the Supreme Court

The President of Georgia will no longer nominate a candidate for the Chairperson of the Supreme Court.

According to the head of the president"s administration, "in the situation when the Georgian Dream refused to participate in consult, will be unacceptable to name a candidate.
The Georgian Dream openly stated that they would not participate in the consultation. The only chance, to approve the candidate at the Parliament was a broad consensus, However, this comprehensive consensus was not achieved, "Giorgi Abashishvili said.
