"He is waiting for presidential elections and is waiting for his presidential term to pass," the statement was made by the Chairman of the Parliament regarding the president"s decision not to nominate a candidate on the position of the Supreme Court"s Chairman.

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, the ruling team was ready to cooperate with Giorgi Margvelashvili regarding the selection of candidates, but the president made a wrong decision.

"Everybody has evaluated the president"s step negatively and I think that the picture is clear and we do not need any additional assessment." As for our position, we have underlined repeatedly that we were waiting for him to nominate a candidate "- said Irakli Kobakhidze.
