Vano Merabishvili was transferred from one of Tbilisi"s clinics to Matrosov prison at night. The former PM and former Interior Minister was hospitalized for two hours in an intensive care unit. The cause was inflamation of the respiratory tract, but specifically what kind of medical manipulation or research was conducted is not known. The lawyer is waiting for the diagnosis from the penitentiary establishment. This jas been the third case of Merabishvili"s hospitalization lately.

"We wrote to the Penitentiary Department regarding the diagnosis established as a result of previous investigations and we have not yet received the answer," said the lawyer Giorgi Chiviashvili.
