Zugdidi Mayor Lasha Gogia resignes

Zugdidi Mayor Lasha Gogia has resigned. Gogia himself published the statement on social network. The reason for his resignation is unknown yet - Gogia"s opponents often criticized him for selecting companies in tenders based on nepotism. His name was also mentioned in the 2016 parliamentary elections. Opposition parties accused him of falsifying the results. Former mayor has not made any explanations for his resignation yet. He is currently in Prague. Lasha Gogia was elected Mayor of Zugdidi on October 22, 2017.
