The clergymen responds to Salome Zurabichvili "s attacks on clergy. Accusing of violation of the Church Concordat is unacceptable for the Holy Synod members . Father Kakhaberi says that he is not going to support Salome Zurabichvili because she is unacceptable for him.

According to Father Kakhaber, the clergy have the right to express their opinions as other citizens of the country.

" It is a lie that church interferes , the Church does not interfere. I can express my personal opinion and tell you that I do not have the right to call on the parish to vote for someone, it would not be fair. Eeveryone has their choice.

" Personally I am not going to vote for her and I have the right as a citizen, Because I do not like her. I would refrain from naming concrete reasons, but I don"t like her positions.

She said that she will take care of the church in case of winning elections. So it turns out that she will deprive us our citizenship or forbit to participate in elections," Kakhaber Gogotishvili says.
