The Russian Foreign Ministry has released a special statement on the results of Abashidze-Karasin"s last meeting in Prague. The Russian side reaffirmed its support for the rapid start of practical realization of the 2011 Agreement on Customs Administration and Customs Trade between the Governments of Russia and Georgia.
Karasin expressed hope that the joint committee with participation of Switzerland will be a precondition for fulfilling agreements in the nearest future.
The statement also says that despite positive changes, military cooperation between Georgia and NATO remains a serious irritant for bilateral relations.
