Public Defender responds to attack of Parliamentary  Speaker on the NGO sector. Nino Lomjaria advises high-ranking officials instead of criticizing the civil sector to take effective steps to solve the problems. The main human rights defender of the country reminds the government of the main obligations of the NGOs - to ask those questions that are legitimate and which exist in the society.

"First of all I myself come from the civil sector and during the previous government and in the conditions of this government, we have proved that we are not political parties and we are not a party, and no government can benefit from criticizing the non-government sector that has high confidence and reliable reputation among international organizations. The government should respond with strong action instead of such criticism," said Nino Lomjaria.
