Salome Zurabishvili, a presidential candidate supported by "Georgian Dream", took a loan of a million GEL from Bidzina Ivanishvili"s bank "Cartu" for a pre-election campaign, but for which period it is unknown.

At this time, the candidate does not have the official documentation to indicate whether the loan will be paid and what s the interest rate.

The information has become known from the State Audit Office Report.

Will Zurabishvili repay the loan at taxpayers expanse - according to the Election Code, the candidate who receives more than 10% of the vote, has the right to demand 1 million from the budget for financing the expenses incurred during the campaign.

The same way was done by the "Georgian Dream" in 2016. Then Ivanishvili"s party received a 1 million lari ftom Ivanishvili"s bank for 4 months. The loan interest rate was 11%.
