Ten years since of the existence of Geneva discussions - Georgian side has been actively involved in negotiations for 10 years. The government team says that keeping the format is important because discussions are an opportunity where the Georgian government officials talk about the country"s most important problems and provide information to the international community.

"The main theme is the topic of people who are kidnapped and such aggressive attitude does not end and aggravates the difficult situation of the occupation," Vice-Speaker Gia Volski said.

The opposition speaks about the necessity of strengthening the Geneva talks format.

"Naturally, this format needs to be strengthened and we need to force Russia to talk with us," said Roman Gotsiridze, a member of the National Movement.
