European Georgia responds to statements made by Georgian Dream leaders related to the use of quotations from Salome Zurabichvili"s book at the Hague Court by the Russian Federation.

The parliamentary minority believes that the statements of the presidential candidate backed by the ruling party are very dangerous.

The leaders of European Georgia made a statement at the special briefing today.

According to Otar Kakhidze, the statement of the authorities confirms that they do not see the problem in Salome Zurabichvili"s opinions.

"They lied that such fact has not taken place. This position was soon changed and they suggested the second argument. Mr Sergeenko said as if the Russian Federation does not use quotations from fiction and he mixed up the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice. Mr Volsky confirmed that this is the official position of the authorities that they do not see problems in Zurabishvili"s charges. Russian Federation uses Zurabichvili"s essay against our national interests very skillfully, "said Otar Kakhidze.

European Georgia called on the population to be active on the October 28 presidential elections.
