The presidential election in Brussels was peaceful. Grigol Vashadze received the majority of the votes at the polling station opened in the Georgian Embassy.

The voices in the European capital were distributed as follows:

Grigol Vashadze - 86 votes

Salome Zurabishvili - 37 votes

Davit Usupashvili - 15 votes

Davit Bakradze - 11 votes

Georgia"s ambassador hopes that the country"s new president will be able to support Georgia"s European ambitions.
