After the report in Saturday"s Courier , the source from the University provided the Courier with new names of high ranking officials, who are allegedly using abuse their authority to receive doctorate degree.
The Dean of the Faculty of International Relations of the Technical University confirms that Kakhaber Sabanadze is going to get the doctoral degree on the same faculty as Gogashvili.
The opposition says that Sabanadze is a fictitious student in the university and does not actually participate in the educational process and uses his influences to get academic degrees.
"In fact, they get the academic degree in exchange for something, they does not fulfill the student"s responsibilities, do not learn and do not participate in scientific studies, they do not attend lectures that are necessary to get academic degrees," says a member of "United National Movement" Khatia Dekanoidze.
