Members of Georgian Dream were irrotated by naming candidates by Eka Beselia at the sitting of the Legal Issues Committee.

As Rati Ionatamishvili said in fact, the meeting was held for the purpose to elect Gedevan Popkhadze as the first deputy.

"On Thursday we had the only issue regarding Gedevan Popkhadze"s election. As for the three candidates, I think this is a violation of Article 35 and 8 and 9, "said Rati Ionatamishvili.
Levan Gogichaishvili, who was named as one of the deputies by Eka Beselia, answered this statement.
According to Gogichaishvili, Ionatamishvili does not understand the regulation in depth.
"It seems that you can not understand the regulations. We are not talking about the content here, it is about the issue. We speak about the elections of the first deputy, "said Levan Gogichaishvili.

Gedevan Popkhadze was elected as the first deputy chairman of the Legal Issues Committee.
Seven members of the Legal Committee supported Popkhadze.
Three candidates were nominated at the committee sitting - Gedevan Popkhadze, Levan Gogichaishvili and Ruslan Pogosyan. Voting was held twice.
