January 4 is the birthday of His Holiness.
The Prime Minister, President, Speaker of Parliament and MPs congratulated Ilia II on the anniversary.The children from the children"s home were also present at the Patriarchy. They congratulated the patriarch on the 86th anniversary with a song.
"I am grateful for your love. For 41 years now, I have served the Georgian Church and thank the Lord and thank you. If it was not for God"s mercy and your love, it would be impossible, "said Ilia II.
