The Leader of "European Georgia" expresses hope that the Patriarchate of Georgia will recognize the independence of the Ukrainian Church and make a decision that is in line with the state interests.
"Ukrainian people, the Ukrainian church, the Ukrainian parish truly deserve independence and autocephaly. So I would like to congratulate them on this very important event. It is very regrettable that our government has not congratulated the Ukrainian state and the Ukrainians. Of course, the final decision regarding recognition should be taken by our church, "says David Bakradze.
