"No customs terminals to be deployed beyond these agreed corridors" - Zalkaliani talks about the treaty with Russia


Representatives of Georgia, Russia and Switzerland are gathering in Geneva. The first meeting of the Joint Committee was implemented in 2011 within the framework of the Customs Agreement signed between Georgia and Russia.
All conditions have been established for the implementation of the agreement - the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland also confirms this.
A day before the Geneva talks, active campaign began in the Russian press.Russian media claims that Georgia has compromised with Russia and is ready to allow transit of goods to the occupied territories. Such statements are not confirmed by the Georgian side and are called speculations.
"Everything is done according to the agreement signed in 2011, no customs terminals will be considered beyond these agreed corridors - this is all speculation," said Minister of Foreign Affairs Davit Zalkaliani
