Suicide attempt in the penitentiary establishment - prisoner Shota Sanidze tried to commit suicide. He has been taken to Ingorokva"s clinic . "Kurier" prepared a report about the convict a few days ago where his family members claimed that the prisoner refused to take food, water and medicines.
He is one of the three prisoners convicted for the murder of Giga Partenadze, who was beaten in Geguti prison four years ago and he requests re-investigation of the case in radical form of protest and asserts that he had not been beaten anyone in Geguti prison.
Mother of the prisoner Nato Shanidze says she learned about the incident in the morning.The prisoner"s lawyer says that his client had suicide attempts several days earlier.
