Procedural War in Parliament - Plenary Session in the Legislative Body was resumed a few minutes ago, but soon a break was announced.
The meeting is chaired by Zviad Dzidziguri, Irakli Kobakhidze is not in the meeting hall at this moment. This was followed by the procedural war in parliament.The opposition demanded Dzidziguri start voting on Eka Beselia"s initiative. Part of MPs are waiting for Irakli Kobakhidze"s return to the hall.
Some of the lawmakers even asked to delay the meeting before return of Irakli Kobakhidze to the hall.
The discussion of legislative initiative of Eka Beselia and her colleagues in the Parliament was held on the background of debates. The draft law envisages the postponement of lifetime appointment of judges for 5 years in the courts of the first and second instances.
Part of the parliamentary majority states that the initiative is not in compliance with the Constitution.
