The consideration of case of former high-ranking officials of Zugdidi City Hall detained on corruption charges begins in the city court.
The Mayor and his deputy, Lasha Gogia and Gia Gulordava, are accused of taking bribes.
Introductory speech will be delivered by the defense side today.According to the lawyers of the accused, the detainees do not plead guilty.
"The charges against my client are not substantiated," says the lawyer of one of the detainees, Zakharia Gvishiani.
