"Putin is violating sovereignty of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova," - Joe Biden

The United States Vice-President Joe Biden talked about the policy of Vladimir Putin and the Russian-Ukrainian conflict during a meeting at the Brookings Institute.

According to him, it is very important to help Ukraine for maintaining the order in the world. Biden recalled Dmitry Medvedev"s presidential term and the positive steps taken in that period.

Biden said that Putin violated not only Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova"s sovereignty.
In describing his experience with Putin, Biden described the Russian leader as a practical person. Putin will, Biden said, “push as far as he can...until he reaches a resistance that in fact says there’s a big price to pay.”

The path forward, he outlined, was to continue pressing Russia with sanctions, while working with the Europeans to increase military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine, and continue working with the Ukrainian government on meaningful reforms.
