Vladimir Putin criticizes teh West. Russian President made this statement during his visit to Milan. At the press conference held after the meeting with Italian Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin said that Russia had nothing to do with G-7 and compared the organization with the club of interests. The Russian leader expressed the hope that sooner or later the West would lift sanctions against Moscow.

During his one-day visit to Italy, Putin will meet with the Pope.
