The officers of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative, search and investigative activities exposed two juveniles – G.M. (DoB 2004) and R.Kh. (DoB 2003) for theft committed in group with a previous consent.

Committed crime envisages from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.

Investigation established that on December 1 of the current year, the exposed persons stole the Tablet and other personal belongings from vehicles located on Irakli Abashidze Avenue, Kutaisi, owned by 4 civilians. After committing the theft, exposed juveniles fled from the place of crime.

As a result of investigative activities held by the law enforcement officers, both juveniles were exposed on the second day after the crime took place. Police has already seized illegally appropriated items as evidence.

Exposed persons have already pleaded guilty.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of theft committed in group with a previous consent, article 177, III part, sub-paragraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
