As of today, I am less involved in the daily management of the party. Taking a temporary pause was important for me too - Levan Sanikidze

Compared to the previous period, I am still less involved in the daily management of the party as of today. Such a statement Levan Sanikidze, a member of the United National Movement, made in the interview with “Formula TV”.

“At our last congress, we announced a six-month transition period. I think these six months will probably be fully utilized for the party to prepare for fundamental changes. In this regard, I think that now, compared to the previous period, I am still less involved in the daily management of the party as of today. However, of course, I am actively keeping up with important news, and I also have my voice in the key general decisions that will be related to carrying out these reforms”, - said Levan Sanikidze.

When asked, what is behind the fact that he is not involved in the daily processes, he replied that all of this is not related to a dissociation.

“This is certainly not related to distancing myself from the process. It is just that the duty assigned to me as the first Deputy Chairman for a year and six months, I consider, was busy enough in this regard. And I think that the board currently managing the daily operations of the party will do this job much more efficiently. For now, I believe, and this is how I view it at least - and I am being truly sincere - that taking a temporary pause from some of the daily management was important for me too, so that I could see things from a bit of a distance...”, - added Levan Sanikidze.
