Police solved the case of murder as a result of immediate activities –one person detained

The officers of Kakheti police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate investigative and operative activities detained one person- T.B. on the fact of premeditated murder committed in Pshaveli village, Telavi municipality.

Committed crime envisages from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment.

Investigation established that on the basis of the conflict, which existed in past, T.B. inflicted lethal injuries with a shotgun to Z.B. (DoB 1982) who was in an unregistered marriage with his sister.

Law enforcers detained T.B. shortly after the crime took place in the village of Pshaveli. The weapon of crime- shotgun has already been seized by the law enforcers as evidence.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
