Georgia received 43,000 doses of the AstraZeneca COVID vaccine for citizens who have already taken its first dose.

AstraZeneca is the first anti-coronavirus vaccine to be introduced in Georgia.

The same number of vaccines are expected in the country at the end of May.

According to the Head of the National Center for Decease Control Amiran Gamkrelidze, today’s data show that 25,461 citizens have received AstraZeneca jabs, with 10,000 having already booked the vaccine.
