The fire on Eristavi Street in Tbilisi has been extinguished. According to the Emergency Management Service, firefighters evacuated about 150 people from the nearby area for safety reasons.

“Employees of the Fire and Rescue Department arrived at the spot as soon as possible. The fire was spread in the warehouse area.

There was a danger of the fire spreading over a large area, however, as a result of the timely response, the fire was localized and subsequently completely extinguished.

No one was injured in the accident. 12 groups of the Fire and Rescue Department worked on the spot”, - said Otar Kereselidze, head of the Tbilisi Main Division of the Emergency Management Service.
