On May 17, for the last 7 years, the Family Purity Day has been celebrated in the country at the initiative of the Patriarch.

Because of the pandemic this year, certain events will not take place. A statement issued by the Patriarchate said that the church considers the epidemiological situation and refrains from holding mass marches and large-scale events.

The priests will gather at Trinity Cathedral at 11:00 a.m. and bless the water. Later, they are going to bless the population and the streets.
