The students of the Technical University are on a hunger strike. They are demanding the resignation of the rector David Gurgenidze.

“The rector of the GTU has been convicted 4 times with very severe articles. The protest will continue until the Minister of Education decides to meet us. We will not go anywhere; we will starve and stay in this area”, - said students.

They added that the protest will not end and will continue until their demand is met.

“Youth for a European Future” joined the students’ protest.
