Georgia to open its land borders from June 1

The Inter-Agency Coordination Council has decided to open the land borders of the country from June 1, 2021 in the same manner as for passengers of air transport.

Namely, individuals will be admitted through the land borders of the country with evidence of full vaccination and negative PCR test results or alternatively only with a negative PCR test result taken within the last 72 hours thereby obliged to get re-tested for PCR on the third day.

In addition, a list of nationalities - both citizens and residents - admitted to Georgia with a negative PCR test taken within the last 72 hours has been extended to cover Canada, Japan, Kuwait, China, South Korea, Moldova and Oman.

Visitors of Georgia are required to have a health insurance acquired in their countries of residence or in Georgia.
