16 and 17 years old minors may receive Pfizer’s vaccine in Georgia from autumn. Such a statement made today the Head of the National Centre for Disease Control.

“Several countries have already started vaccinating children at the age of 12-15 with the Pfizer, including Canada, United States, Israel, Britain and Italy.

I hope that there will be enough doses of the Pfizer in Georgia by autumn. We will receive additional doses of Pfizer vaccine in the first week of July, while Sinopharm and Sinovac vaccines will be imported to the country in the first half of July”, - said Amiran Gamkrelidze.
