The Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth of Georgia Tea Tsulukiani met with the Director-General of the UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay, in Paris.

She talked about the urgent need to protect Georgia’s cultural heritage in the occupied territories and stressed the responsibility of Russia in these territories, which the Strasbourg court unequivocally confirmed on January 21.

The meeting also covered the “Tbilisi - World Book Capital”, which is implemented under the auspices of UNESCO.

Besides, the activities of the Ministry in the direction of creative industries were emphasized.
