According to the Deputy Minister of Health, Tamar Gabunia, a total of 52 cases of the so-called Indian strain have been confirmed in the country.
“52 cases of the so-called Indian strain confirmed in Georgia. 5 suspicious cases are under investigation. So far, no particularly severe cases have been identified among these infected people. However, there is a risk that the Delta strain may spread and it is estimated at 10-20%, of course, there is a special caution”, - added Tamar Gabunia.
