Tbilisi Pride joins silent rally in front of the Parliament

Tbilisi Pride joins the silent rally planned in front of the Parliament.

“Yesterday was a very difficult day for Georgian democracy. Hate groups abused journalists, persecuted civil society activists throughout Tbilisi and undermined the foundations of a just and democratic state.

We believe that yesterday’s series of violence posed a threat to the state! The scale of the violence that took place in Tbilisi yesterday requires an immediate response from the entire community.

We are joining the silent rally today and we call on everyone who was planning to participate in the March of Dignity yesterday to join us”, - reads the statement of Tbilisi Pride.
