All 5 people detained on charges of membership of the terrorist organization Islamic State have been officially charged.

Yusuf Tsatiashvili, who lives in Duisi, was charged with joining and aiding a terrorist organization, which is punished by 10 to 17 years in prison, while the other 4 members were charged with membership of a terrorist organization, which is punished by 10 to 12 years in prison.

5 people were arrested in Kakheti yesterday on charges of membership in a terrorist organization. According to the State Security Service of Georgia, the detainees planned to travel to a terrorist camp in Syria.
